Ayekart Fintech and ACCESS Development Services join hands to facilitate access to Agricultural Output Markets.

Ayekart, a leading Agri-FinTech and integrated digital platform empowering Farmers/FPOs and MSMEs in the food and agri value chain, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ACCESS Development Services, a renowned organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development in the agricultural sector. This collaboration aims to facilitate access to remunerative markets for agricultural commodities by leveraging the strengths of both organizations. The MoU was formalized with a significant milestone, where FPOs in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha facilitated 200 metric tons of maize supply.

With a joint approach, Ayekart and Access Development Services will work closely to identify marketable surpluses of various agricultural commodities sourced from farmers through Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and facilitate remunerative markets. The collaboration signifies a strategic/significant move towards strengthening the agricultural supply chain, ensuring fair returns to farmers, and fostering sustainable agricultural practices. Moreover, Ayekart Fintech’s digital platform has integrated the entire supply chain, offering a promising solution for digitizing farmer-producer organizations (FPOs) and enhancing transparency and efficiency in agricultural operations.

ACCESS Development Services is a recognized valuechain support organization that promotes sustainable development in National, and regional level. It is dedicated to empowering the communities by improving the value chains through innovation and digitization and empowering stakeholders through capacity building and evidence generation.

Simplifying the primary objective of this MOU, Mr Debarshi Dutta, Co-founder & CEO of Ayekart, said, “We are incredibly pleased to announce the signing of this MoU with Access Development Services. Adding to Mr. Dutta’s statement, Access Development Services spokesperson Mr Shubhendu Dash, Vice President & Head farm Sector saidthis MoU has opened up avenues of remunerative markets for farmers through different FPOs. The Ayekart Platform has already shown positive outcomes by initiating a procurement of 200 MT Maize from FPOs in Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. This has helped to establish a cohesive bond between Ayekart and ACCESS supported FPOs and we would replicate this model soon to other States with multiple commodities. We are also hopeful that the DigiTech platform of Ayekart shall be helpful in improving the operational efficiency of the FPOs.
