Future Enterprise Awards 2021 Recognizes 36 Best Digital Initiatives Across 13 Categories in India at the IDC DX Summit India

IDC Future Enterprise Awards 2021

IDC announced the India winners of the 2021 IDC Future Enterprise Awards naming 28 organizations across 13 categories for excellence in their digital transformation (DX) efforts. Now on its fifth year, IDC’s Future Enterprise Awards celebrates the tech-enabled resilience of enterprises as they navigate through the challenges and disruptions of the digital economy in the changed world.

These organizations asserted their leadership amid a pandemic and distinguished themselves from more than 1000 entries received from close to 700 end-user organizations across Asia/Pacific. This year’s Future Enterprise benchmarks were chosen based on their successful implementation of digital initiatives that address new customer requirements, development of new capabilities, deployment of new critical infrastructure, and pursuit of new industry ecosystems.

Here are this year’s Future Enterprise Awards categories and winners, featuring nine new digital agenda items that will be the new benchmarks for what it takes to lead in the changed world:

Future Enterprise Awards 2021“As the world eases into the next normal, agile enterprises are expected to not only survive in the digital-first economy but also consistently hit new benchmarks in the race to become the Future Enterprise. Asia/Pacific organizations have stepped up to the challenge, with the region spending about $461 billion in technologies and services supporting digital transformation in 2021. In 2020, 83% of organizations in the region saw more than 5% increase in revenue because of their DX investments, highlighting how tapping into emerging technologies to bolster digital resilience allow enterprises to thrive even in times of crises,” says Sandra Ng, Group Vice President for ICT Practice, IDC Asia/Pacific.

“25% of India’s enterprises are now digitally determined and have progressed well on the DX maturity curve in the past two years. IDC research indicates that enterprises that innovate with a digital-first strategy for their customers, employees, and partners with agility and resilience at their core, are most likely to thrive in the digital economy. IDC is elated to recognize Indian enterprises that have taken the lead on this journey and are well on the path to creating a Future Enterprise,” adds Vasant Rao , Managing Director, IDC South Asia announcing the winners.

IDC’s Future Enterprise Awards follows a two-phased approach to determine country and regional winners. Each nomination is evaluated by a team of local and regional IDC analysts against a standard assessment framework based on IDC’s Future Enterprise taxonomy. Top country winners from India will qualify for the regional competition to be decided by a panel of judges comprised of IDC analysts, industry practitioners, thought leaders, and academia around the globe.

The top 2021 Future Enterprise Awards India winners will compete at the regional finals happening at the highly anticipated IDC Digital Transformation (DX) Summit where the region’s ever-expanding community of key decision makers, tech buyers, vendors, and innovators come together to learn new trends and strategies from winning DX projects and share invaluable insights from their own digital journeys.
