Tata Tele Business Services highlights digital technology imperatives for enterprises in the post-pandemic world

Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS) hosted the CXO Talk, Chennai- “Reboot your Business with Tech Advantage”. The virtual roundtable is aimed to enable a platform for industry leaders to deep dive into insights on collaboration tools and how these are becoming a frontline enabler of seamless business continuity. Tata Tele Business Services led the discussion on how technology is helping the enterprises recover and boost their productivity and efficiency while working in the new normal.

Speaking at the CXO Talk Roundtable, Mr. Kalidas KS, Vice President, Tata Teleservices said, “The pandemic has triggered the need for the enterprises to adopt various connectivity and collaboration tools to help maintain business continuity. At TTBS, we are committed to not only provide our customers with uninterrupted telecom services, but also introduce the right set of collaboration tools to help them adapt to the new normal. We shall continue to focus on bringing to market, innovative solutions that would help our customers address this new normal.”

Industry representatives such as Mr. Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan, CEO at Cavinkare, Mr. Ramanathan Ramachandran, CEO at Inthree Access Services, Mr. Harish Manian, CEO at MGM Healthcare, Ms. Rangapriya Goutham, Director at Virginia Tech, India, Mr. Vinoth Chandar, Founder, CEO and Creative Director at Chu Chu TV, Mr. Kalidas KS, Vice President – SME Operations, South Region, Tata Teleservices, Anmol Garg, Founder of Sales5X (moderator) addressed the forum. The roundtable saw some thought-provoking discussions on how digital enhancements on virtual platforms have played a vital role to help enterprises adapt to the new normal and continue their operations with minimum disruptions.

Mr. Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan, CEO at Cavinkare said, “At initial stages of the pandemic, significant measures have been taken across the industries in terms of virtual rebooting and focusing on the collaborative solutions, it taught us a new normal which was earlier been ignored. Now manufacturing facilities have come back to normal and operational constraints have sub-sided too.”

Mr. Ramanathan Ramachandran, CEO at Inthree Access Services said, “Work from home has been adopted and benefitted most of the sectors as it has evidently increased the productivity. Companies have organized task forces in accordance to issues which are more relevant now, and a right mixture of office space customization can impact their growth in the near future. While we talk about privacy, it’s more towards data security, if that is been taken care, we can consider the WFH successfully in a longer-run”

Mr. Harish Manian, CEO at MGM Healthcare said, “Every crisis brings us an opportunity, tech intervention in the healthcare sector has been maximized in terms of delivering patient’s requirements during this pandemic. Moreover, advancements in healthcare which were ten years ahead, are now fast-tracked by x number of times. Once the international borders will open, India will re-gain its momentum in terms of medical tourism”

Ms. Rangapriya Goutham, Director at Virginia Tech, India, said “In the education sector, the scale offerings has been expanded to a wide range of customers due the connectivity solutions that we can avail these days. Post this pandemic, in a longer-run, the industry beyond high school can adopt a hybrid model of learning.”

Mr. Vinoth Chandar, Founder, CEO and Creative Director at Chu Chu TV said, “The online content consumption has gone very high in this lockdown, and demand for productions as well. Post enabling very simple connectivity tools, we were able to re-settle 80% of our productivity in the first two months of the pandemic only. Now, we are planning to introduce a work from home culture to expand our team who can permanently work with us remotely in future without investing in expanding the office space”
