R&M, a Swiss cabling systems developer and provider of high-quality fiber & copper solutions for network infrastructures around the world has added one more feather to its cap. R&M India’s Managing Director, Mr Gaurav Ahluwalia received one of the most prestigious awards for the year 2021, where he has been named Business Leader of the Year 2021 for the IT-Hardware sector under Individual Category conferred through a nomination process and judged by an eminent panel of jury members. The award was presented by the World Leadership Congress and Awards in its 19th Global and 4th Indian Edition in Mumbai. The leadership award is endorsed by the World Leadership Council, CMO Global and World Federation of Marketing.
The World Leadership Congress and Awards is a group that is independent, not-for-profit and guided by an Advisory Council. Their purpose is to make “work and working lives better”. And at a time of unprecedented change, they have the vision, the agility and the strength to make a real difference to the CMO community; business and the economy. The Leadership Awards is all about Achievers, Super Achievers and Future Business Leaders. These awards will recognize the achievements made by selected high profile corporate business leaders and honour their great contributions towards the country’s post-recession economic development.

This year the awards included newer leadership categories as well as a deeper understanding by the World Leadership Council board of directors towards a strategy for the success of business in corona times as “giving back” to the society for better development. The focus this year was on specific Industry Segments such as FMCG Industry, Hospital & Healthcare Sector, Pharmaceutical Sector, E-Commerce, E-Payments & Technology Sector, Food & Beverages Sector, BFSI, Retail Industry and Allied sectors in urban & rural markets. The objective of these awards is to recognize achievements, honour and encourage, and help in the training of new leaders and elevation of existing leaders.
