Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) will organize its flagship international machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition ‘IMTEX 2023 & Tooltech 2023’ along with Digital Manufacturing at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bangalore from 19th to 25th January 2023.

IMTEX today occupies a premier position in exhibition landscape as South Asia’s largest exhibition in machine tool and manufacturing technology. Since its beginning in 1969 in Mumbai, it has showcased every change and shift in metalworking technology to enable Indian manufacturers to innovate, reinvent, evolve and stay relevant for their customers.

Since more than 5 decades, the exhibition has brought diverse groups and stakeholders on a common platform for knowledge sharing and transacting business. In its maiden avatar in 1969, IMTEX was organized in a 7,000 square metres premises in Vikhroli, Mumbai, with participation from 26 companies. IMTEX 2023 & Tooltech 2023 is expected to cover an exhibition space of more than 50,000 square metres with participation from over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.

Speaking about IMTEX’s relevance, Ravi Raghavan, President-IMTMA said, “IMTEX is the exhibition for technology enthusiasts. It is at IMTEX that latest technologies prevalent across the globe are launched and displayed ‘live’. IMTEX 2023 with focus on metal cutting machine tools and advanced manufacturing technologies like Digital Manufacturing encompassing additive manufacturing and evolutionary Industry 4.0, etc.”
