Hesa join hands with Ubuntu Consortium in presence of Karnataka CM

Unified commerce platform Hesa, in the presence of the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Basavaraj S. Bommai, announced the launch of a tech application for UBUNTU – a consortium which aims to create a marketplace for micro to medium-sized women entrepreneurs. The app, created by Hesa, will provide these women entrepreneurs the ease of doing business, as it enables them to showcase and sell their products. As a result of which, the app will also provide technology & market linkage capability to support these women entrepreneurs.

With this collaboration, Hesa will be supporting the existing 22,000 & more women entrepreneurs to create value in the ecosystem.

With an integrated B2B marketplace, the platform is enabling buying and selling of various services and products with an almost ‘doorstep access’ with a network of 30,000 village network entrepreneurs serving more than 30,00,000 rural consumers in a short span of one year. Ubuntu was registered as an NGO on International Women’s Day 2019 with eight founding members. Today, it is a consortium with 24 women’s associations indirectly reaching out to 12,000 women entrepreneurs from across Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu.
