deeep announces NFT drop and giveaway with KnownOrigin partnership at new AI Art Fair

Deep AI Art Fair

deeep announces their partnership with leading digital art marketplace – KnownOrigin, in their forthcoming AI (artificial intelligence) art fair from 14 – 17 October in Shoreditch, London.

The event, which will assemble the global avantgarde of AI and digital art, features an exclusive drop of deeep’s ‘GAN_man_style’ – an NFT created by a proprietary AI algorithm. And in honour of its origins and namesake (Generative Adversarial Network) this limited edition NFT will be awarded to the first 100 arrivals at the art fair on 14 October for 0,01 for ETH each (approx $36), with the estimated value expected to soar vastly for those lucky first few.

This limited edition NFT was generated by AI code in homage to the mythic Golem, which deeep™ consider the literary precursor of artificial intelligence, reflecting the idea fundamental to AI of animating the inanimate. Rooted in 16th century Yiddish folklore, the myth of the Golem encapsulates both the fears and prospects of AI.

Commenting on their partnership with deeep™ , Edua Skyes spokesperson for KnownOrigin said, “We could not be happier to be partnering with deeep™ for this year’s AI Art Fair. With generative NFTs breaking and setting new records in sales and acquisitions, this fair is the perfect platform to celebrate how far this art movement has come in such a short time and to have a focused conversation about the present and future direction of AI art.”

The deeep™ Art Fair will showcase the world’s best AI artists with the likes of Alexander Reben headlining alongside art collective Obvious, makers of the famous ‘Edmond de Belamy’ portrait, and Oxia Palus, makers of the NeoMasters Series. Works by four internationally renowned robot artists — Sophie, Pindar Van Arman, Aida and Arnie— will also feature at the fair where leading names in the AI art movement are also billed to speak. These include Sophia robot’s agent, multimedia artist and art director Graham Fink, and AI advocate and feminist Tabitha Goldstaub whose company CognitionX helps organisations boost productivity and service delivery using AI.

Graham Fink is the latest AI industry leader to confirm attendance at the show. He first made headlines when he developed a breakthrough AI technology which allows him to draw with his eyes. He is set to discuss his works, the explosion of the AI art space and deliver an exciting live demonstration of how he creates his works via AI tech directly manipulated through his eyes!
