Vuram Celebrates Global Wellness Month

Vuram announced to observe June as Global Wellness Month focusing on the physical, emotional, social, mental, and holistic well-being of its people. Making employee health and wellness a priority and committing to adding long-term, sustainable support for the workforce is crucial to nurturing a happy workplace and a healthy work culture. During June, various focused initiatives will be conducted on mental and emotional well-being apart from the global wellness holiday and observing the International Yoga Day 2022.

On 17 June 2022, the organization declares a global holiday for offices across the world adjoining a weekend, allowing Vuramites to take a break from work and focus on their personal lives and well-being.

Adapting to the changing working environments and focusing on high-priority goals as markets evolve, have affected people. At Vuram, there are year-long initiatives including, doctor on call, family health insurance, people-centric leave policies, Vuram Hears for mental well-being, Vuram Nodes for social and emotional well-being, and more. However, dedicating a month to focused initiatives will create awareness and ensure that the people make use of the available initiatives and find ways to address upcoming challenges.

Focusing on an empathy-first approach to technology, and inculcating a work culture that prioritizes work-life balance is the objective of the initiative. Sessions focusing on mental health, yoga sessions, and awareness sessions will be carried out throughout the month. Besides, the organization will hold a virtual yoga session on the International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2022 covering the offices in India, the United States of America, Mexico, Canada, Netherlands, and Australia.
